Fitness has always been so important to me As a Martial Artist, a Woman and a Trainer. Exercise is a lifestyle not something you do when you feel like it. You don’t need to train for hours, who has the time as life is too short, so why not train SMART! I absolutely LOVE what I do & I will ensure you also LOVE to exercise as it is FUN!!   I’m hard, I’m tough, but I get results and don’t accept Excuses. It’s just You & Me!

about ME

I provide Personal Training and Group Fitness Classes to my local community. As an instructor I want to encourage people to change their lifestyle for the better. My classes are designed to improve your health, increase your strength, tone your body and assist in losing weight. They are fun, exciting but Hard Work. I aim to help you develop a positive relationship with exercise and healthy eating habits leading to a permanent change in the way you make lifestyle choices. I want my classes to have a lasting effect on you and I also want them to be rewarding, giving every client the attention they deserve.

In 2006 I decided I wanted to share my passion of the sport and about fitness & health and began my own business. However, it didn’t start straight away as I also worked full time in construction as a project office manager. So most of my spare time before & after work hours I trained friends, family, co-workers and anyone who wanted to learn about exercise, health & fitness. Over the next 7 years I studied many different techniques, exercises and workshops so I could offer the best to my clients. On my journey to learning new and exciting exercises and routines I became certified in over 15 different styles from Boxing, HIIT, Aqua, Yoga & Meditation. Including becoming a Pool Lifeguard & Swim Teacher.

This is Claudia’s Story: “I have always had an interest in leading a healthy lifestyle and had a very competitive nature. However, this was not always the case. I am human just like every one else and I have had my ups and downs in life too. I have been anorexic at one point of my life and I have been overweight too, but I always had the strength, determination and focus to achieve my goals and get what I want in my life. It’s not easy losing weight or even putting on weight, this never is & there is always a story on why it happens, but regardless of this YOU must have the will to want to change, change you as a person and your lifestyle.”

My passion for fitness started when my father passed away in 2001 from a heart attack. He was a heavy smoker and worked hard all his life. At this stage of my life I was coming out of a very skinny stage (anorexic) where I weighed only 44 kilos and was a size 6, with the passing of my dad it only made my condition worse and I started to get panic attacks. With the support of my friends and family, it was then I decided I wanted to do Taekwondo and change my life for the better, not wanting to pass away from being unhealthy.
In 2004-2005 I became very competitive and competed in the State & National championships placing 2nd & 3rd. After 15 years of focus, dedication and determination of training I achieved my 3rd Black Dan Belt.

Now in 2020 I thrive on taking Meditation classes to balance the high energy I have. I master in HIIT workouts and have produced a range of NO FRILLS workouts on my YouTube channel: Claude Be Fit. I recently teach HIITStep & HIITBox which compliment the various styles of HIIT classes.

I started to understand the benefits of different types of exercises and recognized the positive impact they were having on my body as well as my mind. In 2014 I left my job and ran my personal training business full time, offering my knowledge and services to the community & people that needed it the most. I have developed a love for high intensity workouts & quick and efficient training methods so time isn’t wasted in the gym but spent with family & friends.
At the end of 2015 I became a full time Group Fitness Instructor as I wanted to extend my knowledge & passion of the industry so everyone could benefit, starting with Aqua classes moving onto Boxing, HIIT, Yoga, Kids and Older Adult classes. I was in demand that I ended up taking up to 25 classes a week & dropping down in personal training classes. It was so much fun!
In 2018 I decided to become a Health & Wellness Leader, teaching others like me who are passionate to be the best version of themselves and to help others the way I do. We don’t become an Instructor for the money, we do our jobs because we love fitness, we love helping others, we love seeing the changes in people and we love being apart of something that is fun, exciting, ever changing and always rewarding.
